Mr. Valdez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from Texas A&M University and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1984.

His expertise includes handling cases such as medical malpractice, wrongful death, defective products, and commercial disputes, with many of these resolved through mediation or in State and Federal District Courts.

Certified as a mediator for over 10 years, Mr. Valdez has participated in over 300 mediations, bringing valuable experience in resolving disputes. With 80% of his practice focused on civil litigation, he has worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides, offering clients a balanced perspective.
