Stewart Lin is an associate attorney who began his legal career after passing both the New York and Texas bar exams in 1996. A graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, Mr. Lin also holds an LL.M. in International Banking Law from Boston University and a Bachelor of Law degree from National Cheng-Chi University in Taipei, Taiwan. His diverse educational background reflects his international legal expertise.
Before starting his practice in Houston, Mr. Lin worked for Malleson Stephen Jacque in Taipei, specializing in international law and investment. He later practiced law at Lawson, Weiss, & Danziger before founding his own firm, Stewart Lin & Associates, in 2001.
Mr. Lin has represented thousands of clients in immigration matters with USCIS, immigration courts, and U.S. consulates worldwide. His immigration practice focuses on employment-based cases, including E, H, L, O, and J visas, labor certificates, and national interest waivers. He also has extensive experience in civil, family, and estate planning law.
In addition to his legal work, Mr. Lin is a regular columnist for several newspapers and a guest speaker on Houston Chinese Radio.
